Girard Historical Society Active
A dedicated group of Girard residents have been organized since 1975 collecting Girard memorabilia, documenting Girard history and restoring the 1840 Barnhisel House, 1011 N. State Street at the corner of Smithsonian. Many of our classmates support the Girard Historical Society through membership and/or antique donations, and it has become a great source of information and pride in our high school town. A tour of the Barnhisel House will be included in our 50th Reunion Weekend on Saturday, August 28 at 10am. Indicate your plan to attend when you send in your Reunion Weekend registration.

Mahoning Country Club Scene of Golf ‘Tournament’
Among the many changes since graduation for the Class of ‘60 is the addition of new hobbies, golf being one. The 50th reunion includes golf in the planned activities for the weekend. Tee times have been reserved beginning at 10am Saturday morning at Mahoning Country Club, well known to many members of the Class of ‘60 both during and after high school. Classmates, both men and women, are invited to add this activity to their registration form. Greens fees will be at your own expense. Donated prizes will be awarded at the Saturday evening gala.
